Filipino Siamese twin were born on Wednesday, 18 th Ramadan 1424 corresponding to 12 November 2003 to a family that lives in Burangai Obaw Village in Sabu, and are now approximately 4 months old. They are in a stable condition and now weigh a total of 8.6 kilograms combined.
The initial examination and work-up showed that the twin were of the omphalo-ischio pagus tetrapus and it appeared that they shared a pelvis, urinary and genital organs, and distal bowel .
The first planned met of the multidisciplinary team was held Tuesday, 27 th January 2004 .
This separation considered the fifth operation at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh and the eighth in the Kingdom, all of which have been headed by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah .
