4 weeks after the successful separation of the Iraqi conjoined twins Ayad and Zeyad they have become stable without any major problems or complications.

On Friday, 31 October 2008, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid a fatherly visit to the Moroccan and Iraqi twins.

24 hours after the successful separation of the Iraqi conjoined twins Ayad and Zeyad performed on 25 October 2008 at the King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard Health Affairs – Riyadh

Based on the directive of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud it has been decided to proceed with the separation of the Iraqi Conjoined twins, Ayad & Zeyad on 25 October 2008, with the rehearsal procedure to take place on 22 October 2008 at 1400 hrs, as stated by Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Head of the Multidisciplinary Surgical Team.
