Iraqi Conjoined Twins( Ayad and Zeyad) Arrived to The kingdom
Based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a second set of conjoined twins arrived in the Kingdom last evening from Mosul, Iraq together with their parents.  They arrived by Saudi Medivac at Riyadh Air Base Airport and met by and met by the Director General of Public Relations and Media Affairs, Mr. Sami Al Shalan and transported by ambulance to KAMC and were met by Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Medical Officer together with the specialist and medical team for the necessary medical examinations to be carried out.

The twins Ayad and Zeyad were born over a month ago by Caesarian Section at Al Khansa Teaching Hospital in Mosul and are joined at the chest and abdomen. The parents of the twins are truly appreciative of the humanitarian gesture of King Abdullah and look forward to the possibility of the separation.In the next few weeks further examinations and meetings will take place by the multidisciplinary team.

Dr. Bandar Al Knawy on behalf of Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah and the Multidisciplinary Surgical team as well as the National Guard Health Affairs Appreciated this generous gesture by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
