Based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the separation of the Jordanian Conjoined Twins Mohammad and Amjed will take place, today, 29 April 2010

Based on the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah the operation to separate the parasitic twin from Syria was undertaken at King Abdulaziz Medical City on Thursday, 8 April 2010

Due to the life threatening condition upon arrival from Gaza Strip on 6 April 2010, and to a single heart complex with many cardiac anomalies incompatible with life the twins Rital and Ritaj were not separable and passed away on Saturday, 10 April 2010 simultaneously.

Four (4) days after the successful separation of the Bahrani conjoined twins, the surviving twin, Zarah is doing remarkably well. A separation was done immediately after birth as an Exit Procedure, in order to save the healthy twin Zarah. Unfortunately, the other twin did not to survive, as expected, due to major abnormalities and complications of the brain, heart and lungs
